Tjörnin

One of my places is called “Tjörnin”. It’s either a small lake or a big pond — you can choose — in my Reykjavík. (You may know it as “The Pond”.) As you can see in this photo-graph taken by a lofty stone Mr. Lofty Stone, many birds live on it. In summer you can look at it, and in winter you can put on your skates and skate on it.
